The product comes in the form of a white, odourless powder. It acts during the larval stage of insects by inhibiting chitin synthesis. As a result, death of the larvae occurs upon pupation or pupation.
Dimilin 25 WP is generally an ingestion insecticide. In some cases an ovicidal action is also evidenced, both directly and indirectly, by contamination of females or eggs by penetration of the product through their chorion.
Dimilin 25 WP does not act against adult insects. In general, deserted and predatory insects are not affected
