Solvent is normally used in a concentration of 0.01% to 0.1% in the spray solution. Usually 0.01-0.05% is used in mixtures with fungicides, insecticides/acaricides and micronutrients, in mixtures with herbicides and growth regulators the recommended doses are between 0.025-0.1%.
Advantages:
*improves absorption in the stomata by reducing the active tension of aqueous solutions;
**solvent added solution penetrates more easily and quickly into the green parts of the plant;
**the solution sticks better to the leaf, especially in leafy vegetables;
***better effect of mixed products.
The amount of water is crop specific, varying from 50 to 300 liters of water/hectare depending on the equipment, weed size. It is recommended to bathe the weeds as well as possible by reducing the volume of solution by 30-40% compared to the volume normally used.
