Mode of action: Captadin is a contact fungicide with preventive and curative action on a broad spectrum of plant pathogenic fungi, applied during the growing season. It acts by blocking the respiration and cell division processes of pathogens. Depending on climatic conditions, it has a remanence of 7-20 days on the plant. Promotes healing of wounds caused by some external agents.
Modus of use: Apply during vegetation by spraying at warning. For best results in pathogen control, treatments are applied preventively when disease conditions appear or at the first signs of disease. The interval between treatments is 7-14 days depending on the crop, the evolution of climatic conditions and diseases. Normal volumes of water specific to the crop type and stage of vegetation are used. The spray solution can be prepared directly in the spray machine tank. Calculate the amount of Captadin required for the entire volume of liquid, dissolve it in a few litres of water, pour it under constant agitation into the half-filled tank and top up with water to the mark. During the treatment, well regulated machines should be used to ensure constant bubbling and pressure and well calibrated nozzles to achieve a fine spray and good leaf coverage on both surfaces. A maximum of 10 Captadin treatments per season should be applied to apple trees. A maximum of 4 Captadin treatments per season should be applied to plum. For tomatoes apply a maximum of 2 Captadin treatments per season.
Compatibility: The product is compatible with most fungicides and insecticides currently used in Romania, except for calcium and barium polysulphides, bordeaux zeme and other substances with a strong alkaline reaction. Do not mix with oily products. Before use consult compatibility tables and carry out a test.
Break time until harvest: After application of the last treatment and until harvest, a minimum of 14 days should elapse for onions, cucumbers, 21 days for tomatoes, vines, plums and 28 days for apples.
