GHEPARD FORTE contains 100 g/ L quizalofop-P-ethyl and is a homogeneous, clear, slightly viscous, golden yellow liquid with a mineral oil odour. GHEPARD FORTE is used postemergence for the control of monocotyledonous annual and perennial weeds and is registered in Romania according to the table below.
Mode of action: GHEPARD FORTE is a selective, systemically acting herbicide and belongs to the HRAC A group, aryloxyphenoxy-propionate class. It is absorbed by the weed via the leaves shortly after treatment and translocated into the meristematic cells, arresting their growth (inhibition of acetyl-CoA-carboxylase action occurs and thus disruption of fatty acid biosynthesis) resulting in plant death.
The action of the product is visible 10 to 14 days after application and is accelerated by high temperature and high air humidity. The action of the product does not depend on the nature of the soil.Water volume: 200-400 L/ha.Maximum number of treatments per year:1.
