Velum Prime 400 SC is a systemic product containing the active substance fluopyram. Velum Prime has excellent efficacy on nematodes (Meloidogyne spp.) as well as on solanaceous mealybugs (Leveillula taurica) and curcubits (Sphaerotheca fuliginea). The effect on nematodes occurs within 30 minutes after application. They lose their mobility and after about 1-2 hours they are completely paralysed.
HOW TO USE
A first treatment is recommended 1-3 days before planting the seedling, followed by a second treatment 15-30 days after transplanting is completed. Velum Prime 400 SC should be applied to previously watered soil to promote activation and uptake of the product into the plants. The dose and timing of application is chosen according to the degree of infestation, health and size of the plants. Break time: do not apply. Solution volume: 2000-6000 L/ha. Two treatments per production cycle and per year should be applied at an interval of 15-30 days between treatments at a rate of 625 ml/ha per treatment. The amount of product that can be used is 1250 ml/ha/year. The product is applied by drip irrigation after the soil has been previously watered with a minimum quantity of 1-2 L/ m². This process will activate the product and help the plant to take it up. If the product is applied before transplanting the seedlings, it is recommended to water the soil 7 days before application. Potato (full surface application) Nematodes (Meloidogyne spp, Globodera pallida, Globodera rostochiensis) 625 ml/ ha. Application period: April - May, 0-3 days before planting. Application followed by incorporation at 10-20 cm. Solution volume: 200-800 L/ha. Potato (row application) Nematodes (Meloidogyne spp, Globodera pallida, Globodera rostochiensis) 625 ml/ha. Application period: April - May, in furrow during planting. Solution volume: 150-300 L/ha.
