Mode of action: Captadin is a contact fungicide with preventive and curative action on a broad spectrum of plant pathogenic fungi, with application during the growing season. It acts by blocking the respiration and cell division processes of pathogens. Depending on the climatic conditions, it has a persistence of 7-20 days per plant. It helps heal wounds caused by certain external agents.
Mod of use: Apply during vegetation by spraying on warning. For best results in controlling pathogens, treatments should be applied preventively when disease conditions occur or when the first symptoms appear. The interval between treatments is 7-14 days depending on the crop, climatic conditions and disease evolution. Use normal volumes of water specific to the type of crop and stage of vegetation. The spray solution can be prepared directly in the spray tank. Calculate the amount of Captadin required for the entire volume of liquid, dissolve in several liters of water, pour under constant agitation into the half-filled tank and top up with water on demand. During treatment, well regulated machines ensuring constant bubbling and pressure and well calibrated nozzles should be used to achieve a fine spray and good coverage of the foliage on both surfaces. A maximum of 10 treatments of Captadin per season shall be applied to apple. On plum apply a maximum of 4 treatments of Captadin per season. On tomatoes a maximum of 2 treatments with Captadin per season shall be applied.
Compatibility: The product is compatible with most fungicides and insecticides currently used in Romania, except calcium and barium polysulfides, bordeaux zems and other substances with strong alkaline reaction. Do not mix with oily products. Before use consult compatibility tables and carry out a test.
Break until harvest: After the last treatment and until harvest, a minimum of 14 days should elapse for onions, cucumbers, 21 days for tomatoes, vines, plums and 28 days for apple.
