DIFCOR 250 EC

It is a light yellowish-brown liquid with a characteristic odour. Diphenoconazole acts against fungi at the time of penetration into the plant and during the period of leafminer formation, spore formation and spore release. It blocks the development of pathogenic fungi by interfering with the biosynthesis of sterols (ergosterol) in cell membranes. Diphenoconazole is transported systemically, acropetally, upwards through the woody vessels to all green parts of the plant. On leaves it is distributed translaminar.

Time of application: Treatments should be carried out in accordance with local advisories. Preventive treatments: under normal infection conditions, the interval between treatments is 7-10 days, from the beginning of flowering until the fruit is 20-30 mm in diameter. Then treatments can be applied every 7-12 days. The interval between treatments is adapted according to climatic conditions, the evolution of the disease, the crop, and if necessary can be reduced to a few days (4-5 days) during periods of heavy rain and cloudiness. Curative treatments: against rabies infections can be treated curatively as soon as possible (max. 24-48 hours) after infection. After the first curative application repeat the treatment, with preventive effect after 5-7 days depending on climatic conditions. Curative treatments can be applied until the fruit is 20-30 mm in diameter.

The number of treatments is max. 3 per season on apple and pear. For the remaining treatments fungicides with a mode of action other than triazoles should be used. The volume of solution used depends on the equipment used, and can be 200-1000L/ha.

DIFCOR 250 EC is generally miscible with other fungicides and insecticides. Mixing with copper products is not recommended. It is recommended to consult the compatibility tables and carry out a compatibility test for a new mixture.

Break time to harvest: 21 days for apple, sugar beet, chicory, endive, cabbage and Brussels sprouts and 14 days for pear, quince, peach, apricot, carrot, plum, carrot, parsnip, goat's beard, turnip, red beet, broccoli, and celery, 7 days for tomato, 56 days for oilseed rape.
