Mode of action: VITORIOMOX 4 SL is a selective herbicide for the control of dicotyledonous weeds in sunflower crops established with imazamox-resistant hybrids.
Applied during vegetation, when weeds are small, the product is taken up by both leaves and roots. On the soil it has a residual effect by preventing a new wave of weeds from emerging. VITORIOMOX 4 SL controls problem weeds, including Comacia (Xanthium strumarium), Ragweed (Solanum Nigrum), Wolfbane (Orobanche spp.), Common ragweed (Abutilon theophasti), Pikegrass (Amarantrus retroflexus), Trefoil (Mercurialis annua), etc. Directions for use: Apply postemergence, once per season, when weeds are small (2-4 leaves). Sunflower plants should be in the 4-8 leaf phenological stage (for control of wolfweed in the 6-8 leaf stage). To accelerate the drying effect of weeds, it can be applied in mixture with an adjuvant.
Compatibility: The product is compatible in mixture with other plant protection products. A physical compatibility test shall be made prior to use, and the behaviour of sunflower plants shall be tested after spraying with that mixture.
Selectivity/Crop tolerance: VITORIOMOX 4 SL has residual effect. Therefore after application the restriction period until the establishment of the next crop should be taken into account, as follows: for cereal cereals - 4 months, for maize, vegetables, potatoes - 9 months for rape, sugar beet - 18 months. In case of return of a crop herbicided with VITORIOMOX 4 SL it will be possible to sow immediately resistant sunflower or soybean.
